Made this Lemon Cake with Fluffy, Less-Sweet Lemon Frosting for a fam birthday celebration. It's a cake that lemon cake lovers will rejoice over.
This 3-layer cake and frosting has more steps and takes a little longer to make but it's well worth the effort and time! It's my first time making ermine frosting and everyone actually thought it was a cream cheese frosting. It frosts like a dream, perfect for hot and humid weather. I decorated the cake with edible dried flowers. I would have loved to be able to use fresh edible flowers but unfortunately they are not readily available where I am.
